DaBaby, whose real name is Jonathan Kirk, posted a very cute video of late nights made beautiful with his daughter: “Late night spaghetti w/ lil No Knife.” With reason, people actually started talking about this one.

It’s complete chaos-good chaos!-as it shows DaBaby and his daughter going through the entire process of making spaghetti, from boiling the noodles to seasoning the ground beef; the little one, a budding chef already, is nostalgically giving a shakily confident rundown of the entire procedure as her dad is going through it alongside her, with a few antics here and there. According to that little chef’s advanced culinary insight, too much sauce “will overflow” and “you won’t really get the taste of the meat.”
A star of its own right: garlic parmesan corn. And Lil No Knife is certainly not about to let this moment slide and will be laying on garlic butter and parmesan cheese on that corn; certainly far more recognition than that young lady’s taste buds deserve. DaBaby looked at her and joked, “No knife had to take it to another level.”
One amused user commented, “Say what you want but he’s a great dad and it shows! Salute king!!” And honestly, they’re not wrong. There are many things about DaBaby that he shouldn’t be proud of, yet this clip is so heartwarming that the viewer is forced to love him. Another commented, “Your older daughter got the best personality,” referring to the witty and slightly cheeky comments given by the little girl all throughout the cooking.
Now add the behind-the-scenes for the good. DaBaby confessed that, for nearly 10 years, he had an idea for a cooking show for his daughter, including a song and music video. It never came to full fruition, but certainly, the love of cooking is in the family. The video ended with an endearing shot of the two presenting their self-made meal: garlic butter bread, spaghetti, and that insanely famous garlic parmesan corn.
