‘SKKETCH’-y behaviour

Hamburg’s Helena Hauff and F#X are two Hamburg-based artists that share a love for pushing the boundaries of electronic music when humans and machines collide.
Teaming up as Black Sites and employing a distinctly punk ethos – improvising straight to tape and using a minimum of post-production shine – they released on the iconic PAN imprint and prestigious Netherlands label Bunker/Panzerkreuz, but have been on hiatus for the past 11 years.
Helena Hauff, in the meantime, has been catapulted into fame, touring all over the globe showcasing her expertly curated DJ sets spanning acid, electro, techno, EBM, and post-punk and recording for leading labels like fabric, Ninja Tune. F#X (aka Kris Jakob) has also remained a dynamic presence in the electronic music scene, and now the pair have ressurected the project for a startling and uncompromising full length album – their first – for Tresor, R4.
The album’s a glorious combiantion of techno precision, electro moves and often distorted, industrial dirt, and thanks to the pair themeslves and Tresor, you can hear one of its many highlights – the track ‘SKKETCH’ – in full, right here, right now.
